Project Details
The Church needed more space for their full time daycare and after school programs, a larger fellowship hall, and updated office spaces for church staff. We worked closely with the committee to identify the exact needs of the church, how to best position the additions on the property to maximize parking and green space, and what design elements of the original facility should be incorporated into the new facilities. We bid the project two different ways: 1) in phases, so that the church could still hold services and meetings within the facility during construction; and 2) in one phase, which would require the church to set up mobile classrooms during construction. Once the bids were opened, it was determined that the second option actually saved the church 6 months of construction time and thousands of dollars- even after renting the classrooms.
